Citrine is the yellow gem that almost everyone is familiar with. The color of Citrine can range from a pale pastel yellow to a strong orangey-yellow.
Citrine is a member of the Quartz family which has several affordable gem varieties including Amethyst, Ametrine (a bi-color combination of Amethyst and Citrine), Smoky Quartz, Prasiolite (Green Quartz), and colorless Rock Crystal.
